FONTANA GIS

Data & privacy

This is a reference app prepared for City IT/GIS review. It has not been represented as an approved City system.

Owner information is disabled

The current app does not query or display parcel owner names or owner mailing addresses. The owner API returns a disabled response. Site addresses and APNs remain available.

Location and searches

Location following starts only when you choose it and allow your browser's location request. The app does not save GPS history, searched addresses, inspection records or case files. Map providers receive requests for the area you view; address/APN searches are sent to the City's ArcGIS services. Providers may retain normal request logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs.

Outside services

Cloudflare hosts this public app. Esri supplies the map software and satellite imagery, OpenStreetMap supplies street tiles, and City GIS services supply the map layers. Choosing Directions opens Google Maps for the selected property.

Public access and data accuracy

Anyone with the link can use this app. It contains no City sign-in credentials and provides no editing access to City records. Layers are reference information from the linked sources. Published access does not itself establish City approval of this app or every use of the data. Property boundaries, utility lines and septic flags do not certify legal boundaries or service connections.

IT review

IT/GIS must decide approved hosting, account ownership, permitted layers, access controls, licensing and operational use. Hosting remains in the creator's Cloudflare account until an approved transfer or migration is arranged.
